These terms and conditions govern your use of the Proofwork platform ("the Service"), operated by Proofwork ("we", "us", "our"). By signing up for or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
Proofwork is a process verification platform — a verifiable ledger for field operations. The Service is delivered as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) web application, accessible at proofwork.today.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these terms.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Payments are processed by PayFast, a PCI-compliant South African payment gateway. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until canceled.
All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and United States Dollars (USD). You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or levies applicable in your jurisdiction.
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with the Service within 14 days of your first payment, contact us at support@proofwork.today and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.
After the initial 14-day period, subscriptions are non-refundable on a pro-rata basis. If we fail to deliver the Service as described or there is a material outage caused by us, you may be eligible for a service credit or refund at our discretion.
One-time setup fees are non-refundable once onboarding work has commenced.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain full access to the Service until that date.
We do not offer partial-month refunds for cancellations initiated mid-cycle. No long-term contracts are required. You are free to cancel and re-subscribe at any time.
We reserve the right to cancel or suspend accounts that violate these terms, engage in unlawful activity, or abuse the Service. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
The Service is delivered digitally — there are no physical goods. Upon successful payment, your account is activated immediately and you gain instant access to the Proofwork platform.
For paid plans requiring onboarding or setup, service commencement begins within 2 business days of payment confirmation. You will receive a confirmation email with access instructions.
Upgrades: You may upgrade your plan at any time. The price difference is charged immediately, and you gain access to the higher-tier features and limits right away.
Downgrades: Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period. You retain your current plan's limits until then.
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime beyond our reasonable control, including third-party infrastructure failures, force majeure events, or scheduled maintenance communicated in advance.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We treat your data with care — it belongs to you. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties except as required to deliver the Service (e.g. hosting infrastructure) or comply with legal obligations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Proofwork's liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
